The city offers several meeting/social room facilities for public use

Carter Day Training Center

Located at 200 Lake Nichols Drive Nashville, Ar  71852

The CDTC meeting area is 66 x 50.  There are 17 rectangle tables, 1 wooden table, and 127 chairs.

POLICY FOR PUBLIC USE OF

CARTER DAY TRAINING CENTER (CDTC)

The following organizations will be allowed to utilize the facilities of Carter Day Training Center and be exempt from the payment of fees:

* National, State, and Local Government Agencies

* Arkansas Rural Water when an inter local government training program is planned

* Chamber of Commerce Activities

Activities/Events listed below may be held at the CDTC Facility for a fee. The fee will be two hundred dollars ($200.00) per day/per event regardless of the number of hours the facilities are used plus a one hundred dollar ($100.00) deposit which will be refunded If the facilities are not damaged and left clean after the scheduled event. Training programs will have the highest priority when scheduling this facility. No deposit will be refunded until it has been inspected. No alcohol is permitted in or on premises. Any scheduled event must be over by 10:00 pm.

Agreements with current weekly and/or monthly users will continue with groups paying a minimum of $10 per use not to exceed current number of times use. These organizations include The Bridge Club, Jr. Auxiliary, The Heritage Club, The Rotary Telethon, Chapter of the Blind, and Foster Parents. Any other special events approved by Mayor or City Council.

CDTC is located at 200 Lake Nichols Drive and provided residents a clean, smoke-free facility for activities requiring a large meeting area. The fee charged for use of these facilities will cover the following:

*Electrical, heating and air            * W.A. System

*Restroom facilities

*Meeting Tables                          *Lectern

The fee is per event and/or per day.

In the event of a natural or man-made disaster, these facilities will become an emergency relief station which would automatically cancel any and all other events scheduled.

The most number of people allowed at Carter Day is 100.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR USE OF CARTER DAY TRAINING CENTER

The following activities will NOT BE PERMITTED at the Carter Day Training Center:

*Illicit drug use         *Drinking of Alcohol               *Loud Music      *Dancing                     *Loud or offensive language                      *ANY unlawful activities

. Carter Day Training Center is a smoke-free facility; smoking is permitted outside of the

KITCHEN FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE EXCEPT THE STOVE

Facilities must be scheduled in advance with payment made at the time of scheduling or

when the key is picked up. If there is a need to cancel an event it must be canceled a minimum of one (1) clay in advance to receive a refund for the use of the facilities and/or the deposit.

Absolutely no tape on ceiling, floors or ceiling fans.

No sitting on tables or counters.

ANY damage to the building or property caused by ANY event or ANY person attending an event will be charged to the organization/person scheduling the event.

Police Officers will at any time randomly check in during events scheduled at the CDTC.

NON-COMPLIANCE TO ANY ONE OR MORE OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF DEPOSIT.

Green Room and/or Stage

Call today to reserve the Stage and Green Room for your event.

The Green Room and Stage are located inside the Nashville City Park at 1301 W Johnson St Nashville, AR  71852.  The Green Room itself measures 55 x 23 with dressing rooms and restrooms with showers.  There are 8- 6′ round tables and 80 straight back chairs.  The adjoining outdoor covered raised open stage measures 40 x 80.

Green Room/Stage Facility Use Policy

User Guidelines:

Rates:

Stage and Green Room-$300 per day or $60 per hour with $200 deposit

Green Room only-$200 per day or $35 per hour with $100 deposit

Stage only-$100 per day or $25 per hour with $100 deposit

Regulations

  1. Smoking is not allowed in the park or park facilities.
  2. Alcoholic beverages or drugs are not allowed at any event.
  3. Music must be kept at a low level.
  4. All events must conclude at 10:00 p.m.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation of your event needs to be  two (2) days prior to the scheduled event. All monies will be refunded.

Damage Policy:

  1. A $100 damage deposit per each room/area is required and will be refunded the next business day following the event. Damages and cost of repairs or replacement will be taken out of the deposit.
  2. If fire extinguishers are stolen, damaged or discharged, payment to cover the cost of replacement or repair will be levied.
  3. Renter is responsible for trash removal. Trash containers will be provided.

Decorations must be free standing. NO nails are to be driven in walls.

Legion Hut

The Legion Hut is located at 301 W Dodson St Nashville, AR  71852.

The main area is 37 x 37 with an upper area of 16 x 24.  There are 16 tables and 75 chairs.

POLICY FOR PUBLIC USE OF
THE LEGION HUT

Activities/Events listed below may be held at the LEGION HUT Facility for a fee. The fee will be one hundred dollars ($100) per day/per event regardless of the number of hours the facilities are used plus a one hundred dollar ($100.00) deposit which will be refunded IF the facilities are not damaged and left clean after the scheduled event. No deposit will be refunded until it has been inspected. No alcohol is permitted in or on premises. Any scheduled event must be over by 10:00 pm.

The LEGION HUT is located at 301 West Dodson St and provides local residents a clean, smoke-free facility for activities requiring a medium sized meeting area. The fee charged for use of these facilities will cover the following:

*Air conditioning                                  *Restroom facilities

*Meeting Tables and chairs                  *Gas heaters

The fee is per event and/or per day.

In the event of a natural or man-made disaster, these facilities will become an emergency relief station which would automatically cancel any and all other events scheduled.

Maximum number of people allowed at the LEGION HUT is 60.
