& Since 1883
Situated at the base of the Ouachita foothills, Nashville is the county seat of Howard County. Steeped in a rich tapestry of history that reflects the true spirit of the American South, Nashville is named in honor of Francis Nash, a general during the American Revolutionary War. Our charming locale in Southwest Arkansas is known for its history in Peach Farming and the discovery of the largest dinosaur trackway in the world (nearly 10,000 Sauropod footprints).
A Rich History
Over the years, Nashville, Arkansas has proudly retained its small-town values while embracing progress, thus offering a unique blend of historical significance and modern charm.
